Robb CAMPRE

First Nations Advisor

First Nations Advisor

For over 25 years, Robb has been committed to enhancing the capacity of Indigenous communities in western Canada. He betters the lives of the communities he works with by developing opportunities in education, arts and culture, athletics and business development.

Robb was a member of the Edmonton Eskimos in the 1980s. As a professional athlete, he received the mentoring and leadership that allowed him to break from the cycle of extreme poverty that too many Indigenous people are born into. Robb worked hard to create a solid foundation and a better world for himself. His own experience as an urban Indigenous youth has prepared him to be a role model and mentor to Indigenous youth today.

Robb’s efforts focus on three key areas: community development, economic development, and arts & culture. By creating space for engagement that recognizes and respects Indigenous history and culture, his work bridges gaps that exist between Indigenous communities and the mainstream.

Since his humble beginnings, Robb’s words and actions have consistently demonstrated a positive influence on the way industry and governments engage Indigenous communities. Proper consultation and community infrastructure serve as a legacy and footprint that will benefit not only Indigenous communities, but all citizens of Canada.
