THREE PROJECTS BREAKING GROUND ON INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE ENERGY USE IN ALBERTA BUILDINGS
The Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association (SSRIA), a not-for-profit association dedicated to finding innovative solutions to reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions in buildings, has approved funding for the first three projects as part of its Green Building Technology Network (GBTN) program.
NOTE: Green Violin is working with SSRIA for future potential funding. We applied for this round of funding with the mass timber modular connectors for Freedom Tower to promote the use of mass timber in high rises, but such a product (the connector) was not seen as being a marketable, knowledge building product.
