Edmonton’s historic Brighton Block is on track to receive unprecedented financial support from the city for its conversion into a six-storey office and retail development.

“These have to be labours of love for people who do this and I don’t think we should take that for granted,” McKeen said. “I think this is a really important investment in a heritage building on our main street in our entryway into Downtown from the east. It’s a lot of money, we found a creative way to not sort of kill our heritage reserve, too.”
